Hello Creatives,

We are asking you to create a logo for a bistro coffie brasserie in Kyoto.
The clientele is mostly female, of all ages.

The logo design should be simplistic whilst evoking a strong presence on the viewer.
Please feel free to use your design preferences.

Reminder:
The initial image should only contain the logo and nothing else. The logo must be placed on a neutral background (or without visual texture).

LOGO MEANING:

The logo represents a bistro in the city of Kyoto, Japan.

French cuisine will be served with a little more lightness.

Bistro Café dix-sept is also a relaxing place to have a coffee, take a little time to read a book or chat with friends.
Prices are between 15 and 30 euros.

Dix-sept in english means the number 17.

"dix-sept" should stand out from "Bistro Cafe".

OTHER CONSTRAINTS ? ( SPECIFIC COLORS OR SHAPES, INITIALS, UPPERCASE, LOWERCASE, ETC.)

Colors too flashy.

OTHER RESTRICTIONS:

The logo should be easy and clear to read.

The main factor is the dominant colour of white. The final interior design will incorporate some other colorful elements.

At the moment most of the designs we are receiving highlight the coffee side of the business. The client would like to see propositions without a coffee reference in it. The «bistro cafe» should not be the focus point. It would be better if the «17» was more highlighted in the designs. Also the colour of preference from the client is light blue. It would be nice to see this colour incorporated in to the designs. Also more simple and minimalistic designs are prefrered to over complicated ones.
