PROJECT BACKGROUND

Hello everyone,

We are asking you to create the logo of the group of narrowminded architect ("stubborn", stubborn).

This is much more than a commercial approach, the logo will present a new current architecture profile then that goes against the grain of current designs.

You are therefore expected to produce strong designs, raw, identity and are not afraid to reclaim codes & taboos.

We also expect a track dominant logo which embodies the principle of the Apple: a graphic illustration of the name (apple) and a detailed symbolic vision (bite = creating / break).

A series of inspirations and the presentation of narrowminded you are provided with attached parts.

LOGO MEANING:

Our logo will not only be one of a group of architects, there will be a full-fledged brand.

Your challenge is to synthesize our vision in its rawest form, with for example a pictogram that represents our name in the most graphic way possible and a detail that reinforces our philosophy (cf. apple apple logo Meanwhile. ..).

We advocate an architecture that does not focus solely on the good, but taking into account all the constraints of the environment, particularly through the materials it uses.

The architecture is in our view an experience that lives with all the senses.

We are a group of architects, builders, researchers and creative based in Tangier and Paris, engaged in the field of architecture, urbanism and research materials.

"Narrowminded" means "stubborn" in English.

We chose this name because we believe it is possible to revolutionize our world with ideas that suffer no compromise.

WHO DOES THE LOGO TARGET?

We would like the logo to get potential customers thinking about architecture and its relation to the world.
In this sense, our target is universal.

The members of the public that will be most directly affected by our speech will be members of political communities, artistic and scientists.

DO VISUAL-STYLE GUIDELINES EXIST?

We want a simple style, crude, gasoline and strongly geometric why not transgressive / provocateur (without falling into vulgarity of course).

Black seems obvious. A touch of color is possible but not necessarily encouraged.

The white background is mandatory.

Our logo should not be indifferent, and relate to the Apple principle if possible.

Objectives
WHAT MESSAGE TO CONVEY?

We provide architecture that combines the sense of the beautiful.

We see our job as creating which is a total experience that is not limited to pure aesthetics.

In our view, a building of any kind should be seen as an integrated whole.

Environmental constraints must be taken into account, the importance of the materials used, new and existing technologies ...

WHICH TONE SHOULD BE USED ?

Simple, plain and geometric.

Our logo should be a maximum of meaning with a minimum of elements.

WHERE WILL THE LOGO BE USED?

Not relying on all media will be a way to strengthen our image and to tell our story, they participate in the creative process. So do not hesitate to take this into account in your creations.

WHICH DETAILS SHOULD BE VISIBLE IN THE LOGO?

The name "narrowminded" and the "architects" baseline and a pictogram.

Attention : The pictogram alone should be sufficient to make an impression.

Dominant imagery remains our logo in comparison to Apple. A graphic representation of the name incorporating a detail showing our positioning.

OTHER CONSTRAINTS ? ( SPECIFIC COLORS OR SHAPES, INITIALS, UPPERCASE, LOWERCASE, ETC.)

- Black, in flat or wire is preferred. A touch of color will be accepted if it provides added value to the image.
- You can be provocative, but not vulgar.

OTHER RESTRICTIONS:

It is essential that our logo conveys emotion, captivates, hypnotizes and allows the speaker to transform her look.
