PROJECT BACKGROUND

We are asking you to design a visual for the 14th edition music festival, which is a French festival of current musical artists that will take place in Geneva from March 8-18, 2012.

The festival attracts people between 18 and 50 years old.
However, the visual needs to attract a new public that is interested in live music.

EXISTE-T-IL UNE CHARTE GRAPHIQUE ? (SI OUI DÉCRIVEZ LA CI-DESSOUS, OU POSTEZ LA SUR LE FORUM DÉDIÉ).

The visual must be a poster in A3 format.
The logo must make clear the following:
The name of the festival: FESTIVAL VOIX DE FËTE (this has to be very visible)
Edition: 14th edition
Date: March 8-18, 2012
In Geneva
There must be a space left in the bottom to insert the names of our parteners.

The festival has been in operation for 15 years, and is known for finding musical talent discoveries on the new francophone scene.
At first glance of the logo, it should be clear that a music festival will be taking place in Geneva.
We would like to see an image that represents youth and dynamism.
The visual must be a poster in A3 format.
The image must cover a tram that is 45 meters long!

QUELS ÉLÉMENTS DOIVENT APPARAÎTRE SUR LE SUPPORT (LOGO / TEXTE / IMAGES / SLOGAN / …) ?

QUEL DOIT ÊTRE LE TON DU MESSAGE (HUMORISTIQUE, SOBRE, CRÉATIF, PRO...)?

Should represent an image of youth and dynamism.

AUTRES CONTRAINTES (RÉUTILISATION OU NON DE LA CHARTE GRAPHIQUE ACTUELLE, CODE COULEURS À RESPECTER, COULEURS À ÉVITER, TEXTE PRÉDÉFINI, MARGE ÉVENTUELLE POUR L’IMPRESSION OU POUR LA DÉCOUPE…)

Avoid clichés! For example, the name of the festival has the word voice in it, but we would not like to see an open mouth singing.
We are not looking for a visual that matches a previous one from a past festival. We would like a complete change of the overall image.
Do not forget that the visual will have to cover a tram that is 45 meters long!
